Saturday Round-up, 14th of August
So this is just a Saturday round-up as to what has been happening throughout the week. We did a small update a few days ago but this one will be a little more detailed.
Client Development
We released a first glimpse of the client dashboard interface yesterday, the results of only after a week in actual development. The feedback has been excellent and we are excited to progress with the panels next week. We will release a GitHub and video update every Friday where possible so that everybody can see where we are at.
Brand Development
Gauntlet is getting an overhaul from the inside out and it’s all good. We want to lead our marketing and campaigns with who we are, our vision and purpose ahead of our actual product. We believe this will open up more opportunities for us as our intention is to deliver several offerings other than the gaming client. We have a passion for gaming and how its applications can serve us in more beneficial ways throughout our daily lives.
Education Technology (EdTech) is where we want to go because we believe that gamers, especially those who are new to cryptocurrency and those that want to become more knowledgeable about the different types of innovation coming down the line, will want to have a positive foundation where they can go and learn or even up-skill once the opportunities arise.
Gaming is more than just playing games all day, it’s about engaging, learning, and getting rewards that are not only useful within the gaming environment but also knowing that they extend far beyond that into education and learning opportunities. A slogan that we are starting to use here at Gauntlet is ‘Behind every gamer is a person and that person’s life goals don’t stop when the client is turned off! They want to throw their energies into their passions and lifestyle choices, and Gauntlet is hoping to meet those opportunities.
So we are re-aligning our who, purpose, and vision and giving Gauntlet a true reflection of what we hold dear in our hearts. Our market approach will be different once we launch the new website, documents, campaigns, and clients. We are currently working on our brand approach in the areas of Brand, Product, Channels, and Sales and once we have completed this, we will start showing it off to everyone!
Writer
We are in the process of hiring a writer as our writing requirements will be substantial once we start to roll out our new look, feel, and vision. We are looking for somebody to proofread, compose articles and blogs and perhaps even mini e-books. We have one interested person already but if anybody wants to assist us or get involved please email us at info@gauntletesport.com.
Partners
We want to partner with companies who match our vision and goals so we’ve contacted some of them already, with two expressing interest. One of them will be a games supplier and the other will be a micro-gaming platform, which we believe will be a great match for our ‘Learn’ layer in the client menu, which will be open to both free and paid subscribers. There will be slight differences in educational offerings in the paid subscription. We will expand more on this as we cement our upgrade element.
There is a host of other potential partners we will be connecting with but we will carefully select the ones that are right for us going forward into the future. Aligning with our vision will be key to continuity and future success.
That’s it for this week. As we move forward with development in the coming weeks and months, we will have more specifics about our rewards structure and each of the tabs that are currently being worked on.
Have a nice week everybody.
Until next time,
Gauntlet ESport
