Project Update, 21st of August
Hi Everyone,
This is our Saturday update this week! We’ve had another busy week and things are moving along nicely.
Software Development
As per Friday’s update development, we’ve remade the UI and inputted a collapsible menu-bar to allow screen widening. We’ve installed graphql in the background, made the notification system more detailed, so you can now see the number of notifications you have along with what those notifications actually are. All notifications are also timestamped. We have added a breadcrumb element for quick navigational purposes located on the top right hand side and we have added a placeholder logo in the top left hand side along with other navigational and bridging back-end coding. The profile icon has other features too as seen in the video. We will continue developing the Dashboard page this coming week, so we can start to watch the client come to life.

Brand Restructure
As mentioned in a previous update, we received a business audit which highlighted the gaps in our business model, which has energised us to restructure our approach in taking the client to market. After the audit, we took those points and created an internal document highlighting these gaps in more details which were presented to the core group. All complied with it’s contents and so over the last two weeks we have been drilling down that document element by element covering as many possibilities as we can. We are happy to say that we have finished our break-down with this document and will now start putting it together this week into a nicely tuned business model overview from the very top of the business right to the very bottom of it. Once this is completed, which should take about 1–2 weeks we will commence with our branding work.
Community Feedback Competition
This leads us to continue our discussion on branding. Our logo and website will be the front element of showcasing our brand and for this we are asking for your help. We would love you to put any ideas or inspirations you may have for our logo and website layout, colour pallets, etc. Many like our existing logo however we feel that we need to encompass everything we are doing and not just the gaming. Some have suggested just a plain Gauntlet, others had completely different ideas. We are inviting you to give us your suggestions by putting them into our #branding room under GAU Feedback on Discord or email them to info@gauntletesport.com. The successful person that gives us the best idea for a logo will receive 1000 GAU and the best website idea 1000 GAU also. The feedback competition will last 10 days from this announcement and we will select the recipients after our draw.
Writer/User Design Specialist
We have extended our core team and added a UX Specialist and writer to our arsenal here at Gauntlet. Kim will assist us in client layout, documentation frameworks and content ideas for our new brand-led communications. We are delighted to have them on board. We will also be looking for a part-time writer to join our team that can help with the work-load soon. So if you are interested please email us at info@gauntletesport.com
Graphics Specialist
Are you good at graphics? Want to join our team and grow with us? Email us info@gauntletesport.com if you feel you would make a good match for our team. We are interested in somebody that can provide us graphics for our documentation and future-based campaigns.
Partners This week saw us open negotiations with Surge, Smart Crypto Tech and Game-Frag about potential partnerships going forward. All are aligned in the gameplay-reward crypto space and there is great potential there to move into profitable partnerships. We will keep you updated on this but certainly some great possibilities await.
So until next week folks that’s it!
Until then have a good one!
