Gauntlet Update 14/01/22

Here is what we will talk about today:

Swap

We are about nine days into the swap and we are 50% complete. Remember the swap is live until February 15th so please follow the instructions as stated in the announcement as follows:

The swap exchange will occur at a 1:1 ratio between GAU coins and GAU tokens. The swap will be laid out in the following manner:

1. Users will send us their GAU coins they wish to swap to the following public Gauntlet Address: GPsSJMFmGPiGVm592paKDE3M3Eb5jRQZt7

2. Users must then send an email to the following email address: swap@gauclient.com with the TX id and a screenshot from their wallet accompanied with their BNB chain address where we can send the tokens.

3. Once we confirm that the transaction was successfully received, we will send GAU tokens out to the individual to their submitted BNB chain address. This process may take a lot of time however a few people will be involved in this to ensure it doesn’t take too long.

The Swap will start on the 5th of January, 2022 which is tomorrow at 00:00 UTC (London Time) and last until 00:00 UTC the 16th of February, 2022. There will not be an option to Swap after that and the coins you currently hold will be of no use.

Development

Now that the swap is well underway towards 100% completion, we are resuming development on Version 1 of the client next Monday. Our goal is to achieve V1 by Q1 and work on V2 in the following quarter. We are hoping to have an additional developer join our team during Q1 to help with the development of V2. This will give our development a huge boost.

Updated Whitepaper/Roadmap

Our updated WP V4.0 will be live on the website early next week along with our updated roadmap for 2022. More work, more development more progress, and more excitement!

Community Survey

We will release a Gauntlet community survey next week. This is to get more specific data from our active community members. The results will be used in-house only to better improve the services and products of the Gauntlet project. The data submitted will be a valuable asset going forward for our development teams. We are currently structuring a way to incentivise participation in the survey as it will take several minutes to complete so stay tuned for this one!
